Blocking in colors

Blocking in highlights.

Starting to refine on the back fold.

Refine refine refine, and change my idea on the folds in the vertical drape.  I'm intentionally trying for a more mottled look, and would redo it if it all got too smooth.

More refining - working my way around on the left and continuing to tweak what has already been defined.  I still plan to do a final highlight on everything at the end of this section.

My two bird paintings - the night heron and the spoonbill - turned someone's eye while at the framer's.   I'm currently mulling over the offer (but probably will take it!)

And it keeps raining and raining.  Hopefully I'll see a Nut-Nut tomorrow!
