I may be done with Gene's head. Of course, that's not a definite until the varnish goes on. My brushes have a tendency to wander.....

| Speaking of eyes, Richard had said that previously he looked "surprised." I toned down the lights in his eyes (made it more like the photo instead of arty-farty tricks). I do think it looks better, and agreed that there was just something off about it. |
After the head, which seemed to take an eternity, I moved as far away as I could and started blocking out the butt spots. Blocked in from the top down, getting refined from the legs up.
