Gene's feet before and after

This is a post primarily for Funder, but also because it's interesting. Dawn has sent me a number of pictures of Gene's feet that she's taken over the years, and I thought some before and afters would be interesting. The befores are Jan '06 before Dawn's first trim, the afters are Nov '08. These are all the same foot, his left fore.

I think the greatest changes are in his sad little frog and in the heel height. The frog is still passive in the fronts, but look at how much closer it is to the ground. Also, the front walls no longer look squeezed into the foot. In the pics of the front, a slight trapezoid has replaced the completely vertical walls. Since the after pics, Dawn's been working at those heels and there is definite daylight showing between the bulbs. The marker in the before pics are from Dawn explaining things to us. There's still a lot of improvement that can be made (having Peanut's feet for comparison is a little unfair), but we're on our way.
