In progress - Spoonbill painting

It's a rainy, forecasted for much worse, Saturday.

So I spent the day painting.  And, naturally, taking horrible pictures.

I started by blocking in the basic colors of the far shore in the background.

And then I fucked it up royally.  I then took several days to pull myself together.

Lousy pic, but much, much happier.

More fiddlin, and even happier.

Starting on the front shore.  Blocked in the colors... and then started panicking when I got to this point.

I forged ahead and tried to see if I could make it work.  I think I can live with it.

Bird time.

So this is where I am, and will get back and do more after dinner.  I do have much that happened horse-related, but my head is too mushy from painting to go into it.
