This is a spoonbill that I photographed in Florida in 2013.  He/she has such a smug, smarmy expression on that head what was beaten with an ugly stick that I couldn't resist.

Plus, the varying shades of pink in the feathers will be a good challenge.

So far, I just have the pencil sketch.  It's daring me to pick up a paintbrush.  Double dog daring...
